What's up fantasy footballers?
If you watched the games last week you would be very surprised from a few of the outcomes. Lets start off with the St. Louis Rams who absolutely dominated the impeccable Colts last week making them look like an elementary school team. Backup Rams QB Clemens threw 3 TD's to route Andrew Luck and the Colts. Jacksonville fans, the wait is over as the Jags finally got their first win! Tampa being the only team without a win plays tonight against Miami. The Giants are on fire seeing as they have won 3 straight and are looking to continue their win streak.
So as we are almost coming to a conclusion in the regular season and playoffs will begin in a few weeks, I have a few tips for you in order to help you win your leagues!
Players to Watch:
Some great pickups if you still need to fill a position due to an injured player.
QB: Rams quarterback Kellen Clemens has been averaging 16 points per week and helping the Rams season a lot. Mike Glennon. Glennon has been on fire since being the replacement for Tampa Bay with averaging 17 points per game.
RB: Mike James would be a good pickup in replacing Doug Martin. You could also look for Laveon Bell as this Steelers RB has been on Fire! For the wideout positions look for Jarrett Boykin or Vincent Jackson who have both been on fire, averaging about 10 points per game.
TE: Miami Dolphins tight end seeing as he would be a good back up, averaging 6 points per game.
DE: Lastly, if you need a good defense look for the Titans or Jets, both not owned in many leagues. Both averaging between 7-10 points a game.
Good luck and I hope you all win some money or bragging rights!

The Struggle is Real
Three teams continue to struggle so far this season. The season isn't looking promising for the Vikings, Buccaneers, and Jaguars. Last Monday Josh Freeman had one of the worst pass completion percentages for the Vikings in the history of football. The Bucs are struggling when it comes to finding a quarterback, and the Jaguars don't have a star to help the team shine now the MJD is out. Many fans have been extremely disappointed with these teams in the past seven weeks. I would stay away from all the teams players with an exception of Adrian Peterson on the Vikings. The Bucs and Jaguars are yet to get a win, and the Vikings only have one win.
Defensive Teams to Watch
On another note, many teams are coming out of their shell such as The Jets, 49ers, and The Lions, whom all continue to play some extremely good football. Each of their defenses are currently ranked in the top 15 in the league. Currently, all three teams are in a wild card spot as of now and will hopefully continue their strong seasons.
Players to Watch
A few good pickups for this weeks football match-ups. Keep an eye out for quarterback Jake Locker as he is coming off an injury and many owners have abandoned him. He would be a great asset to a team, as he is averaging 20 points per game. You should also keep an eye out for Pierre Thomas as a filler for the flex position in upcoming bye weeks. He averages about 6 points a game but finds the end zone often. You can also keep an eye out for Mike James because Doug Martin had a season ending injury. James is predicted to have a successful season and average 8 points per game.

Here They Come! Red Hot Chiefs
As the Kansas City Chiefs improve their record to 7-0 they continue to dominate teams left and right. Alex Smith a young quarterback who was let go by the 49ers last year, is showing them what a bad mistake that really was. He has been very consistent for seven straight weeks as you can see. The Chiefs are the only team in the NFL who is still undefeated. Smith would be a great QB2 fantasy quarterback. He can help you out when least expected. If you aren't satisfied with Smith you can look for the other Smith, Geno. He is still unclaimed in most leagues and continues to prove that he is worthy of getting drafted. The Chiefs are playing the Browns at 1:00 today. That will be a tough match up but if the Chiefs continue on not letting a team get over 17 points then they should be fine.
Players to Watch:
Peyton Hillis or Helu on the Redskins would be great last minute RB pickups for your teams as bye weeks are just around the corner. It's very hard to find a good running back this late in the season, but these two might help your cause. Fantasy leagues should be just past the mid-point in their seasons. Match ups will continue to get harder as each owner is getting rid of the weak links on their teams.
Players to Watch:
A few wide receivers who will have big weeks are Harry Douglas and Jarrett Boykin so if they're not drafted, get em'! Demarco Murray and James Jones are good players to watch because they're both coming off injuries and an impatient owner may have let them go. They would be a great addition to any team.

Rodgers May Be in Trouble
Just as we were beginning to think Aaron Rodgers and the packers were about to get back on track, the unexpected happens. The Packers number 2 and 3 wide-outs Randall Cobb and James Jones get hurt in the same game. Green Bay only has 4 eligible wide receivers and 2 of them had just gotten hurt yesterday.
This might put fantasy owners who have Cobb on their team in some trouble. The player analysis stated he can be out up to six weeks. OUCH! As for Jones, fantasy owners got a little more lucky and he might even be available to play in Sunday's game against the Browns. You might want to search around for another quarterback to fall too if Rodgers doesn't produce numbers next week. He won't have 2 of his most targeted receivers and may be forced to go to the run game for the next few weeks. If you have Eddie Lacy though, this could be a huge bonus for your team. He will be seeing many more carries in the next few weeks as Rodgers decides what his game plan will be.
As for other news, the Saints fell to the Patriots in a last second thriller! There are only two remaining squads with perfect records and that's the Chiefs and Broncos. They are in the same division, boy will that get ugly! It's getting to the point where teams are getting carved out for potential playoff candidacy.
What to Do About Playoffs:
Check for updates frequently for good potential pickups in the next few weeks so that your team can get a little boost for the fantasy playoffs which will be in about a month and a half. This can ultimately be this difference between a win and a loss for your team.

Beasts of the AFC East
Not only has everyone believed the AFC east to be the weakest division this year, but they also believed only 1 of the teams will make the Patriots. I'm here to tell you don't listen to everything you hear! Last night Geno Smith and the Jets proved that.
Records in the AFC:
The Patriots are 4-1 although definitely a shaky team the record still says they are 4-1. The Dolphins and the Jets are both 3-2 and both of these teams have had great starts. Even though they both have 2 ugly losses they both have young quarterbacks who have proved they could be HUGE for their teams. With every team losing this week in the AFC east, the Jets went into last nights road game again the Falcons with the mentality of winning. Geno Smith led his team to a 30-28 victory over the Falcons. 95% of sports analysts said the Falcons would win by 7, but not me. I predicted a 31-27 Jets victory and boy was I close! It is still too early in the season to be able to tell who will come out on top from the AFC East but Buffalo is definitely falling behind.
Pickups:
Fantasy owners let me tell you some advice. If you have not picked up a back-up quarterback yet then you should definitely look into grabbing Geno Smith if available. He has had 2 game with 27+ points and 1 with 15+ points.
As for other news the elite 3 are still undefeated at 5-0. The Saints, Chiefs, and Broncos all haven't lost a game yet. Peyton Manning and the Broncos, Drew Brees and the Saints, and Alex Smith and the Chiefs are all making a statement which screams Super Bowl potential.
If your fantasy team has an injured wide receiver I would look into claiming Cecil Shorts on Jacksonville as he is having a big season and unclaimed in most leagues. Lastly, many teams are struggling with their tight ends. You should look into grabbing Bennett of Chicago if you are struggling at this position. He has two games with over 15 points and one with 10. He could be a big asset and replacement if your TE is hurt.

Young Heroes Get Suited For Battle
Match-up of the Week:
Who would have thought these two young quarterbacks would be playing each other in the NFL so soon! Geno Smith and the Jets take on Jake Locker and the Titans this weekend! Both quarterbacks surprisingly off to good starts.
The Jets have been getting better week after week and showed a very valuable effort in last weeks win. The Titans have been strong throughout the season and ended last weeks game in a thrilling game-ending touchdown. I would hold off on grabbing these quarterbacks for your fantasy teams but, if you have an available quarterback flex option, I would definitely claim one of them for this weeks game. It will be a very close game as both teams running games are strong, and the quarterbacks continue to get better. I predict a 27-18 Titans win.
The Jets have Santonio Holmes who already has one superbowl ring, and was one of the best wide receivers in the game. Recently, as Holmes is getting older he is getting slower and can not get to the ball as quick as he used to. As for the Titans, they have the beast of Tennessee on their team to help them stay strong. Chris Johnson one of the most elite running backs in the game. Johnson is extremely strong and quick and has been the back of the Titans for the past few years. If the Jets want any chance to stay alive in this match up they are going to need Bilal Powell to be on his A running game. As for other news the Patriots are staying shaky but still undefeated, along with the dolphins. How long can they keep it up?
Reinforcements Have Arrived!
Gronk Report:
Tom Brady and the Pats are undefeated but are off to a shaky season. Brady is always good for a starting quarterback in fantasy football, but not when he has no one to throw the ball to! Brady and the Pats just pulled out a victory in both of the first two weeks of their season. With the top receiver and running back traded and the start tight end hurt Brady has been forced to throw the ball to back up after back up.
Have no fear!
Gronkowski is on his way to recovery and says he's planning on lifting this team to success. Reports say Gronk should be good to go within the next two weeks. That's a HUGE green light to pick him up if he is unclaimed in your fantasy league! He can easily boost this teams spirit. Unfortunately, other than Brady and Gronkowski I would stay away from picking up any players on this Patriots offense. The reasoning for this is yes they are undefeated but due to a few trades and injuries, they are slacking on every position other than the quarterback spot. Tom Brady hasn't had many option this year to throw to and he could really use his number one back.
If Danny Amendola can get back to his feet this week the Patriots may slowly be rising out of this unsturdy offense we've seen the back few weeks and may get back to the elite Patriots in which New England loves.

Game Over
Bad News Giants:
First losing their season opener, then getting crushed by his brother, now getting demolished by one of the worst teams in the national football league. Eli Manning and the Giants are starting off to a horrible season. This can be the start to the two time superbowl winning quarterbacks downfall.
If you have Eli as a quarterback on your fantasy team, 99% of sports analysts along with myself would say DROP HIM. The G-men had just lost 38-0 to a team who has not had a winning record in five years. The Giants are having a lot of trouble filling the back slot as their original 1st and 2nd string backs are both hurt.
Brighter Side:
On a brighter note Cruz and Nicks are looking good as wide receivers if you want them to fill the flex position on your roster.
These Giants are really not progressing in any part of their offense or defense. Coach Tom Coughlin better start thinking about a new team because this could get real ugly if the Giants don't get at least 4 or 5 wins this season. At this pace, they aren't going to come even close to that. In order for them to get back to the 2-time Superbowl champs they're going to need Eli to get his head together and complete his passes without throwing 2+ interceptions each game.
This is not looking good for New York, but they are known to have miracles so keep your head up Giants fans!

The New and Upcoming. Watch Out For Trent!
Many NFL players had stepped up their game last week as we head to week 3.
The Trade of the Week:
Trent Richardson being traded was a huge move by the Colts. Trent Richardson is an extremely young running back who has Superbowl winning potential. As long as Richardson stays healthy he would be a great fantasy pickup for owners and a good back in the second position if you need another one. He will be a much bigger value to fantasy owners in Indianapolis rather than Cleveland. Richardson is happy he was traded but was pretty disappointed to find out he was traded through his friend because his team didn't call him.I guess that's what you get when you're a part of a team who hasn't had a winning record since 1865! Just kidding.
Players to Watch:
Fantasy owners should watch out this week for San Diego man Eddie Royal because he could be a valuable pick-up and boost for owners, seeing as he had two phenomenal weeks in the red zone.
Owners should also keep an eye on Jets running back Bilal Powell. A young running back who's a big sleeper on a team who hasn't had much going for them lately. He could easily be the game-changer for New York. As for other news many fantasy footballers are getting their squads together and looking for some good open flex spots.
Who to Pickup?:
I would check the transactions box 2-3 times a day each week and go to scoring so that you can see the players who are progressing the most over these next few weeks. This can only help your squad if you are lacking a position so that you can fill it, and continue to beat on your friends when you are playing them in a head to head match-up.
